The Stade de la Paix de Bouaké (so renamed after the civil war since the Flame of Peace ceremony in 2007) is a football stadium in Ivory Coast which is located in the city of Bouaké. It can accommodate 40,000 seated spectators. It was specially built to host, with the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny, the matches of the 1984 African Cup of Nations.
After the rehabilitation in 2018-2022, it is the second largest stadium in the country with the Félicia (40,000 seats), after the Ebimpé Olympic Stadium (60,000 seats). During the Ivorian crisis (October 2002 - March 2007), all sports programs were canceled. The stadium was deserted due to occupation by the FN. According to testimonies from civilians living in Bouaké, this stadium would have served as a place of execution of police officers, gendarmes and soldiers of the government force by the New Forces. fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stade_de_la_Paix_de_Bouak%C3%A9
