Large glaciers with embedded rock debris pushed into the area from Scandinavian times around 250,000 years ago during the Ice Age and piled up bizarre geomorphic crude forms.
These shapes and stones stayed behind as the ice began to melt. The larger stones transported here are referred to as boulders, which are presented to the public in the form of a geological teaching garden in the foundling and juniper park "Clenzer Schweiz".

The center symbolizes the formation of the earth about 4.5 billion years ago. Along a 270 m long circular path, junipers mark the individual epochs of the different ancient and large rocks - from the size of a fist to the 10-ton colossus - which amaze the visitor again and again.
Attention is also paid to the processing and demolition of rocks, as found in some beautiful examples of medieval production near the information center.

Similarly, the boulders were taken into account as a habitat for animals, mosses and lichens and, finally, the aesthetic enjoyment that the diverse colorful rocks, honed and polished, allow for the contemplative observer, was also thought of.

The forest trail with 12 interesting information boards laid out as a circular walk around the Findling Park and the prehistoric Großsteingrab near Reddereitz, lying by the road, should not go unmentioned.

The integration of the near-natural play and adventure area for children and others has also been particularly successful. with tree house, cable car, seesaw, swings, climbing tree, giant mushroom, animal jump and of course stone mountains etc.
