Parts of the southern and eastern surrounding walls and the inner buildings of the castle complex built by the Lords of Kergoz in the 16th century have been preserved. A residential building inside has a beautiful portal in the Flamboyant Gothic style. A pigeon tower rises above the eastern archway, which also dates back to the 16th century. The fortifications visible from the sea were intended to symbolize defensiveness and deter looters. The facility can only be viewed from the outside; restoration work is currently underway. Perhaps the castle will then be open to the public.
