The mill building is an almost square brick building with some small facade openings for some daylight. The mill building has two floors and a high hipped roof covered with Dutch tiles. There is a large opening above the door and a hatch in the hood with a lifting beam for grain bags. Since the restoration in 1997, the mill has been in use every week. Volunteer millers saw wood and ground grain for livestock feed using water power. The water wheel also supplies power to the electricity grid.
