Kyparissia (Greek: Κυπαρισσία (n. pl.) also Kiparissia) is a town in western Messinia in Greece. Since 1 January 2011 it has been the administrative centre and a municipal district of the municipality Trifylia (Τριφυλία), thus losing its status as an independent municipality, which had existed since 1944.

The city is located on the coast of the Ionian Sea between Pyrgos in the north, 65 km away, and Pylos in the south. To the east of the city, the narrow coastal plain quickly turns into a karst hilly landscape. Kyparissia was the capital of the former province of Tryfilia.
