Mountain biking

A very useful footbridge for cyclists and walkers, as it allows you to cross the Muga and link the greenway with the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà and Empuriabrava, avoiding roads. The problem is its condition: when I crossed by bike, the wooden planks were moving, some were very deteriorated and the feeling of safety was quite low. Other cyclists have subsequently continued to report problems with the planks and even protruding nails. Perhaps one day —let’s hope before the next century— someone will remember that such a busy footbridge also needs maintenance. Better to cross it slowly and carefully.

Useful for crossing away from major roads.
On the town side, to the east, there is a picnic area and a fountain to fill water bottles.
Be careful, you cannot cross the wastewater treatment plant to the west, so you have to go around it using a small path, keeping it on your left after the footbridge.
