Fulaga is a limestone island archipelago rising from a picturesque lagoon in the South Pacific. Fulaga is an 18.5 square kilometer island in the southern Lau Archipelago area of the island state of Fiji. The approximately 100 Lau Islands, of which only about 30 are inhabited, extend east of the Koro Sea from north to south over almost 1,000 square kilometers. Fulaga consists essentially of limestone, which can be seen as rocky pinnacles protruding from the water, particularly in the large lagoon on the west side of the island.
