Severance is a small town that sits at 4,888 feet in elevation and is located directly 10 miles east of Fort Collins. The town is at a crossroads of county roads, so there are plenty of road cycling routes in the area. Its landmark attraction is Bruce's Bar, home to the famous Rocky Mountain Oysters. There's even a nod to it in the town motto, "Where the geese fly and the bulls cry".
