As we enter Bao Dai's summer palace in Dalat, we are transported back to an era of luxury and opulence. The building was constructed between 1933 and 1938 as a summer palace in the Art Deco style for the last Vietnamese emperor, Bao Dai. With its 25 rooms, it served as both residence and workplace, and today, with its well-preserved royal apartments, it is a popular tourist attraction.
