At the most eastern tip of the pond there is a small beach which makes a great place for a pitstop, or a freshwater dip. It's a popular place for families as well as kayakers and canoeists looking for a fun day out. The road passes right next to the beach so even if you don't have time to stop, you can soak it all up as you ride on by.
