Statue "Tsunami Honganji Vihara" beautifully located on a lake in Peraliya. It was built with the support of the Japanese Honganji Temple of Kyoto to commemorate the victims of the tragic tsunami in 2004. Roughly at the spot where the tragic train accident occurred. The statue is 30 meters high, analogous to the second tsunami wave in December 2004.
