In 1946, a boiler house was added to the left side wall and in 1966 the building and the parsonage underwent major changes. The church received a modern entrance portal. Above it hangs an open bell tower with two bells with the names Aagje and Adriaan, after the parishioners who donated them. In 1988 the church interior underwent a thorough restoration. Various changes were also made to the white plastered church afterwards.
