Saraguro is the largest urban center of the Saraguro indigenous community. The town is small but has a rich market where you can buy excellent local products, grown in the surrounding Andean hills. These murals are located on the side of the church of San Pedro de Saraguro and represent scenes related to local tradition and customs.
