The California Fields Wildlife Area is a popular spot for both people and their furry friends. There are two, dog-friendly, easy, primary walking loops through flat, pine treed fields of wildflowers, milkweed, and grasses. The land is owned by the well-known water company Poland Spring, who has a great incentive to protect this area to help ensure its clean and clear water.
