    Every year the Taunus Club's deceased are remembered here. The memorial stands for those who fell in the First and Second World Wars. Over time, it was realized that the focus of commemoration should not be on “heroes' remembrance”, but rather on warnings against war and violence. And that the club members who voluntarily work on the paths in the Taunus are also worthy of an honorable memory.
    Behind the monument are the foundations of a stone Roman watchtower on the nearby Limes.
