South Turner Mountain is a 3,122-foot mountain that offers great views of Katahdin and Hamlin Peak from the exposed summit. It is a relatively short, but steep, journey, but on hot summer days you can take a dip in Sandy Stream Pond to cool off at the end of your hike.
