Tips
Although the foundation of the Monnikhof dates back to the thirteenth century, the current buildings largely date back to the eighteenth century. They still form a monumental and iconic location to the northeast of the church, although the original moat has now partly disappeared. The Monnikhof was protected as a monument, and additionally protected as a village view together with the immediate surroundings, including the Steenblockhoeve and St. Anthony's Church.
