Oxbow is a bit of a hidden gem in Reno. You have to drive through an industrial area that doesn't look very inviting until you pull in to the parking area. Anytime of year is good to visit but the fall colors here are incredible. The trails are mostly wide & well maintained, but some sections can get muddy. There are more trails than what's shown on the maps, so this area invites you to explore a bit.
