Located on the Mühlbach is the St. Michael (Archangel) Church, also the parish church “To the Holy Angels”. The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Michael is the village church of Heustreu. The church tower is the oldest component of the church. It was built in the 14th century and increased around 1600. The nave and the choir were built between 1956 and 1957 according to plans by the Würzburg cathedral builder Hans Skull. The church tower stands to the east in the central axis of the nave. It is a Julius Echter tower with a pointed helmet and pointed arched sound windows with tracery. There is only one celebration altar in the church. There is a large mural behind the altar. The church also contains a Madonna from the 15th century. The organ is attached to the eastern wall. The church's ringing includes five bells. Wikipedia

Late medieval churchyard fortifications, quarry stone walls and two churchyard fortification towers. In the churchyard there is a statue of Mary from the 19th century
