The lake has a blue-green color, with native plants surrounding it, such as Spikerush, Low Watermilfoil, and Mountain Laurel, and is a very picturesque place. The hikes in the sanctuary are easy to moderate and there are many loop trails, so you can choose the perfect one for you.
