For us, this loop is THE highlight in the Everglades! You always see animals here, the only question is: which ones? Alligators, herons and vultures almost always, eagles and snakes very often.
The direction from Naples to Miami is usually better (because of the sun) - only in the morning the other direction could be interesting.
