The campsites here are dispersed primitive camping (no amenities). You get a great sense of being out in the mountains, and the campsites are beautiful and peaceful. You might be able to make it up to the site in an ordinary sedan, but you will want more capable vehicles for traversing further up the road to other trailheads.
