Beautiful abandoned fortified farmhouse, with a splendid view of the Locone Valley. In the period immediately following the unification of Italy, a clash took place here between the Savoy troops of Major D'Errico and the band of brigands led by the well-known Sergeant Romano. The toponym derives from the fact that the bodies of the defeated brigands were thrown into a well.
