At 642 meters, Cerro Paredon, with its sheer rock faces, towers above El Chaltén. The views of the village, the Río de las Vueltas, Lago Viedma, and, on clear days, Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre are stunning. It can get quite crowded here in good weather, as it's just a stone's throw from El Chaltén.
