In 1985, Giuni Russo faced the challenges of his record company's indifference towards the new album, leading to its release in mid-July in a less favorable market. Frustrated, Russo sought a mutual release from the record company, facing attempts to limit her artistic freedom, eventually signing with another, smaller label. In 1986, the delayed album "Giuni" was released, with the hit "Alghero", becoming one of his biggest singles.
