Illa de l'Argoletja is a Municipal Natural Park of about 2 square kilometers. This meander was recovered in 2006 with two objectives:
    - Protect the fluvial ecosystem rich in plant species, both terrestrial and aquatic.
    - Provide it with recreational use for people as a leisure centre, for educational and cultural use.
The island has an area with information panels, games for children, picnic tables, bins and regulated parking during the summer months.
