The Coll de Fumanya by Cercs is one of the great ports of Catalonia. The climb begins right at the C-16 detour, where you take the BV-4025 towards Sant Corneli and Fígols. It is a very constant and hard climb at 9%, very twisty and with several horseshoe curves in its first 3 km to the town of Sant Corneli, and later with long straights that add psychological hardness in the final km.

The panoramic views of the Llobregat valley are continuous for much of the climb.

From the Coll de Fumanya, you can take several alternatives:

- by turning right and heading towards Vallcebre, you can access Coll de Pradell (on its southern slope), go down directly to Guardiola de Berguedà after passing through Vallcebre or go down to Maçaners and Saldes at the foot of Pedraforca, iconic mountain of the Catalan pre-Pyrenees.

- continue straight, in which case continue climbing for 1 more km until the asphalt ends. If you have a gravel bike, you can continue until connecting with the Rasos de Peguera station.
