These wells were built in 1926 and were in operation until 1977. From them water was pumped to various sources that existed in Villacañas. By 2021, the Villacañas City Council, through a subsidy from the Community Board aimed at improving natural spaces, has restored these buildings, replacing the corrugated board on the roofs, whitewashing and painting their walls.
