The “Corte degli Ulivi” organic farmhouse is located in the heart of a historic farm in the Tuscan Maremma, “Il Marruchetone”, family property for several generations. Located at the foot of the Etruscan Roselle archaeological park, surrounded by medieval villages, a few kilometers from the coast and the Maremma natural park, this 250-hectare organic farm has been proudly managed by women for three generations.
At the educational farm you can watch the show of the Butteri, Maremma knights also typical of the Macchiaioli paintings. The butteri used the hook, a dogwood stick ending in a hook with which they directed the herds of horses.translated by
