Pond Knob Trail is a gradually ascending trail with around 1000 ft of elevation gain over 1.2 miles, and is fully surrounded by forest. To reach the trail you have to walk for a mile on Hone Quarry Road; the trail is also used by mountain bikers, so pay attention while hiking uphill. Pond Knob is a rocky view point partially covered by trees; the knob is not so popular so you can find some solitude there.
