Former railway crossing through Przędzalniana Street.Księży Młyn is a residential and industrial complex unique in Europe, a remnant of Karol Scheibler's industrial empire. Factory buildings and workers' housing estates began to appear in the 1870s. It was then that the history of the Scheibler Railway began, connecting textile plants initially with Łódź Fabryczna, then with the Łódź Dąbrowa Przemysłowa station.
The last train - a public train running on the occasion of the Midsummer Picnic - crossed the siding on June 23, 2002. The historic two-axle wagons from the open-air museum in Zduńska Wola Karsznice were driven by an SM30-910 locomotive belonging to the "Uniontex" plant.The archival photo comes from the collection of Rajmund Pasternak.
