Cima Fàvaro (1433 meters above sea level) is the summit of a cluster of rocky bastions that dominate the south-west edge of the Asiago Plateau, looming over the Strada del Costo: a breathtaking panorama of the Vicenza plain, the Val d'Astico and the Small Dolomites ( with Mount Summano in the foreground).

A very suggestive view, stretching towards the Cengio and the Val d'Astico, can be had just below the summit, towards the west, from a tower above a gully. The entire massif is very exposed and with faint traces in the woods: pay attention.

Below and around the bulwark, Italian artefacts from the Great War: the southern strip of the plateau, although never directly affected by the conflict (which stopped at Monte Lèmerle and Zovetto) had been fortified as a possible line of maximum resistance, to defend the plains.
