The Klempenow Church, sometimes also referred to as a chapel, is a half-timbered building from 1690 with a tower with a pyramid roof. The interior with gallery, church and patron's pews is of the same period as the building, the pulpit altar was added in 1788. In 1825 the porch was built on the south side. Changes to the course of the Tollense in the 20th century resulted in problems with the subsoil. In 1997-2000, after a long period of closure, the church was extensively renovated, although it was left in a slightly crooked position. The building has now become significantly out of alignment and has been supported since May 2020.
