Preveza–Aktio Tunnel Shuttle Service

Update May 2025: this service is still available. Approach the office and kindly ask if they could give you a lift through the tunnel. They tell you to cycle ahead and meet them just before the entrance to the tunnel. They loaded the bikes in the van and took us through the tunnel at no cost.

I can report something positive: I was there with 2 friends at the beginning of April 2024 - and after a few minutes of waiting, we were actually brought across by a yellow van from the road service without any problems and free of charge. They are already prepared for this, otherwise they probably wouldn't have brought the board as a ramp for the bikes...

the lady opened the windows and just said to me « wait here a few minutes, and we give you a ride »
here is an easy way to cross !!!
