The Colorado Trail dives in and out of the trees and the ridges of the mountainside as it works its way down from Lake Ann Pass to the valley floor. There is actually a new section of Colorado Trail that ties in with the original route at Texas Creek. There are some great views of Taylor Reservoir whenever you break out of the trees.
