Wine Spring Bald is an easy accessible summit in Nantahala, it’s possible to get there by car, or hiking the Appalachian Trail for 3 miles on the way to Wayah Bald. This summit is higher than its neighboor Wayah Bald, but here there are no outward views as it’s surrounded by thick forest and has various communications towers.
