Among the beauties to be seen in the town, we can also include the chapel of Santa Crescenzia. The graceful square-plan building was built in the 13th century in honor of San Vito's nurse, Santa Crescenzia, of whom it is said that she died in the place where the chapel of the same name stands today.
The structure was built by the Arabs but boasts influences from various ethnic groups: we can in fact notice elements that refer to the Gothic and Norman cultures.
