Allean Forest is a large area of coniferous plantation on the northern shore of Loch Tummel. There are great views across the lake from several places.

Forestry Scotland manage the area and have two waymarked walking trails:

The Clachan Trail is marked with yellow and makes a 3 km loop.

The Ring Fort Trail is marked with red, it's 4 km long.
