    Schalders is located at 1,035 m above sea level. The mountain village can be reached via a narrow mountain road starting from the main town of Vahrn. By the way, there are no roads without slopes in Schalders - they only go up or down.

    Schalders is home to the parish church of St. Wolfgang, which is located directly on the small road and was consecrated in 1436. If you continue driving, you will come to a hiking car park - from here you can reach numerous peaks and hiking destinations in summer and winter. For example, you go along the Talbach to the beautiful Schrüttenseen, which lie at the transition from Schalders to Durnholz in the Sarntal. The Sarntal Alps also include the Schrotthorn, another popular peak.
