The Coll de Jou was a great discovery. We climbed it along the Ribes de Freser slope, which is very different from the one that goes up from Sant Joan de les Abadeses. This slope has 2 very different sections:

- 1st section to the beautiful town of Bruguera. It is a constant section and much easier than the second.

- 2nd section to the top of the port. It is a much harder section, with a narrower and more concreted road. The views at the final part are spectacular.
