I cycled this route on August 2025 from Tomislavgrad towards Mostar.
There's a lot of gravel, sharp, and loose stones. Make sure you have enough water; I didn't find any springs. I had no cell reception along the entire route.
On this section, I tore two new Schwalbe Marathon Plus Tour tires right down to the puncture protection.
It's a challenging route that can be dangerous, especially if you're traveling alone. So don't underestimate it.

Wish I read the previous comments! It’s a rubble pile for 16km and took us 3 hours to get through on our 35mm tyres and touring bikes with lots of pushing. ONLY ATTEMPT THIS IF YOU HAVE A MOUNTAIN BIKE. (Or don’t mind walking a lot of it) Pretty views though.
