Cadaqués is a beautiful fishing village in the Cape Creus massif, isolated from the rest of Empordà by the mountains. It gained notoriety at the beginning of the 20th century, when it began to receive tourists, among whom was Salvador Dalí, whose family owned a summer house in the town. The link between the genius of Figueres and Cadaqués would never be broken and this stronghold in the Mediterranean played a fundamental role in his work.
