    Hiking

Songer Butte is the high point in the middle of Emigrant Lake. The short trail to the summit is steep, especially the last section, but at the top the views of the surrounding mountains including Pilot Rock are amazing. Spring is a particularly good time for this hike as the hills are at their greenest and the wildflowers at their beast.
