Cycling

In the past, the Menhir was part of a triptych of monoliths scattered throughout the Campi Salentina area. The third Menhir was represented by the Candide Menhir, which disappeared in the 1990s and was never found again. Some historians, in order to identify the three Menhirs, associated the names of the three Magi with them, giving the monoliths a decidedly mystical aura. Currently the Menhir is kept in the garden of the "Mamma Bella" convent of the Calasanzian nuns.
