This summit is much more secluded than Piper or Belknap. The trail to Swett Mountain summit is exposed with sweeping views coming from Piper and dips into the trees near the summit.

There are great views from the top of Swett Mountain. The path that leads out to the summit is along a ridge. It is a challenging trail, but gives you a wonderful view of the mountains and valley.
