The Napoleonschanze on Norderney is the oldest preserved soil and cultural monument. On the island it commemorates the more than seven-year occupation of East Frisia by the troops of the Kingdom of Holland and the Empire of France. The consequences of the occupation were the collapse of the Norderney merchant fleet and the closure of the seaside resort.

The Waldkirche serves as a meeting place for young people or as a part-time church. I expected to encounter a building. Interesting what there is.
