The dilapidated chapel, dating from 1687, was rebuilt in 1870 as a neo-Romanesque basilica from rubble stone and consecrated on September 29, 1873. The clerestory consists of bull's-eye windows between pilaster strips. An arched frieze is located below the eaves. The gable roof covers the nave and the choir, which is adjoined by a recessed semicircular apse. The sacristy is attached to the choir to the south. The side aisles, covered with pent roofs, have arched windows between the pilaster strips. The western church tower, covered transversely with a gable roof, was renovated in 1951.
