Running
This trail is primarily shaded and maintains a cool temperature throughout the year. It consists mainly of hard dirt terrain, with some sandy sections. Be cautious of exposed tree roots along the path. You can choose to run it either clockwise or counterclockwise, both providing a similar experience. The uphill challenges are encountered in the first half of the run, followed by mostly downhill terrain. Several benches are available along the way for runners to pause and enjoy views of Pikes Peak.
