The building was built in the late 17th century as the administrative and judicial seat of the Weilmünster district. From 1772 to 1915 it was the school. It is a stately, voluminous half-timbered building with a hipped roof and a hexagonal ridge turret. On the north side, where the house has a three-sided bay window, there is a small bakery with a baroque tail roof. Its top serves as a chimney.

Beautiful old building in the old town, right next to the church and the new town hall.
It served as a school for a long time and today serves as a registry office, among other things.
