Hiking

The Hochstein can be reached via two paths from the Scharebenhütte. A somewhat challenging hiking trail begins directly behind the hut. It's varied, but requires a bit more surefootedness.

The second trail leads from the Scharebenhütte forest road, opposite the raised hide. This trail is considerably easier... but not as idyllic as a hiking trail.

Both trails can be easily combined to form a circular route.
